Theory Covered:

• Health , Safety and Hygiene
• Understanding dermaplaning
• Hair growth types and skin physiology
• Identifying unsuitable candidates for dermaplaning
• Proper waste disposal
• Pre-treatment advice and procedure
• Post-treatment care and client consultation

Practical Training:

• Tutor demonstration of the full dermaplaning treatment
• Students practice on live models or each other

Additional Information:

• Provided Materials: All necessary materials supplied.

• Criteria: No previous experience required. This course is suitable for beginners and those with some knowledge of beauty therapy.

• Model Requirements: During the course, you will practice Course techniques on each other, taking turns as both therapist and model. This hands-on approach ensures you gain practical experience and confidence in performing treatments. If you have any skin issues and are uncomfortable participating, you must bring your own model, who should arrive by 1 PM. If you cannot bring a model, the academy will arrange one for you, but you must inform us before booking the course.
• Insurance: For your insurance needs, we highly recommend Insync Insurance. They are accredited by the Centre of CPD Excellence, ensuring high standards of service and reliability.
• Payment Information: The remaining amount must be paid on or before the day of the course. We accept only cash and card payments. NON-REFUNDABLE / NON-TRANSFERABLE
